CJR posts first review in SABEW deal

Posted By Mark Scarp

The first fruits from SABEW’s arrangement with the Columbia Journalism Review to review what it terms “noteworthy local and regional business reporting” were posted this week.

A multi-part series from the Washington (D.C.) Business Journal on what is called the “merchant cash advance industry” is the first journalistic effort to be evaluated the CJR feature known as the “The Audit” under an agreement with the Society. The evaluations will be posted on “The Audit’s” page on CJR’s website. As they are posted there, we will link you to them from sabew.org.

The staff of “The Audit” has been examining and evaluating reporting from national business media, but arranged with SABEW earlier this month to allow our members to submit reporting from local and regional media to receive the same treatment.
