Those with two to seven years’ experience in business journalism or those new to business reporting but have five to 10 years of experience in journalism in another field are encouraged to apply.
Information and applications for the 10th annual scholarship, designed to enhance the quality of minority business journalists, are available here. Deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. Pacific time Sept. 3, 2010. Winners will be informed in mid-September.
More than 2,000 journalists have attended the seminars over the last three decades. Each scholarship covers the cost of tuition, course materials and most meals, but does not cover lodging or travel to and from Philadelphia. The scholarship’s value is approximately $1,995.
