Students invited to 2nd annual college biz-j conference

Undergraduate and master’s degree students interested in pursuing a career in business journalism are invited to the 2nd annual Collegiate Business Journalism Conference, to be held Oct. 21-22 at the City University of New York’s Graduate School of Journalism in midtown Manhattan.

Click here for more information or to register. Accepted students must submit their top three interview choices from Reuters, Dow Jones Newswires, Bloomberg, American City Business Journals and The Wall Street Journal by noon on Oct. 5.

No registration fees are charged to attend and meals (Thursday dinner to Saturday breakfast) will be provided, according to conference organizer, University of North Carolina journalism professor and SABEW research director Chris Roush. Students living outside the New York City area will be provided free lodging at the Marriott Courtyard Times Square South for Thursday and Friday nights. Students pay other incidental expenses, Roush said.
