Kerry Curry

Kerry Curry is the magazine editor of HousingWire, a national trade publication based in Dallas that covers the housing economy with a focus on real estate, mortgage lending, investing, mortgage servicing and macro economics.

HousingWire runs a news website at housingwire.com where it produces daily email updates on housing and financial news, and also produces an award-winning monthly magazine.

Prior to HousingWire, Curry spent 12 years with the Dallas Business Journal, an American City Business Journals’ publication where she worked as Fort Worth bureau chief and later as managing editor. Her background includes reporting for several daily newspapers, including the Austin American-Statesman and the Amarillo Globe-News.

She’s a Green Bay native and a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with majors in journalism and Spanish.

John Gittelsohn

John Gittelsohn has covered real estate for Bloomberg News since 2009, breaking stories about the housing recovery, single-family rentals and Mark Zuckerberg’s 1% mortgage. He previously worked for the Orange County Register, the Sun-Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and as a freelance reporter in South Korea.

He earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford and a master’s in journalism at Columbia. He was a 2009 finalist for a Loeb Award and won a SABEW Award in 2009 for his coverage of a mortgage scheme in Orange County. He lives in Los Angeles, in a house he and his wife bought in November.

Chloé Morrison

Chloé Morrison is the business reporter for Chattanooga’s online news outlet Nooga.com.  She covers a variety of issues, such as real estate, downtown and small business development and automobile manufacturing.

Chloé is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is working at the Chattanooga Times Free Press and the Daily Times in Maryville, Tenn.

She has covered crime, courts, education, agriculture and tourism. She covered the high-profile missing person case and murder investigation of Theresa Parker, which received national media attention.

In 2009, Chloé received four Golden Press Card awards from the East Tennessee Society of Professional Journalists. In 2010 she was a finalist for a Tennessee Associated Press Managing Editors Award.

Lisa Marquis Jackson

Lisa Marquis Jackson is a senior vice president with John Burns Real Estate Consulting. She analyzes housing news, trends, data and research in order to provide good advice to the firm’s builder, product manufacturer and financial clients.

Jackson spent 18 years as a journalist writing for more than 20 trade and consumer publications, primarily in the area of housing. Prior to her current position, she was an editor at Big Builder magazine, where she also authored a blog.

During her career she has applied her skills to marketing communications, print and broadcast creative, advertising as well as research development in both business-to-business and consumer arenas.
