SABEW member recognized for longtime economic coverage of New Hampshire

PHOENIX, Dec. 27, 2012- Denis Paiste, science writer for the Materials Processing Center at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and longtime SABEW member, was recognized for his coverage of the New Hampshire economy.

The Media Award Paiste received from the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development cited him “for his consistent and exemplary coverage of the New Hampshire economy.”

For 14 years, Paiste covered business and financial news, health care, technology and entrepreneurship for The New Hampshire Union Leader.

Christopher Way, N.H. Division of Economic Development Interim Director, described Paiste’s reporting as “thorough and fair.”

The awards was given on December 13, 2012 at the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development annual meeting at the Lake Opechee Conference Center in Laconia, N.H.
