Deadline Feb. 3: $1,000 fellowships to attend SABEW, March 27-29

PHOENIX- The Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism will award two $1,000 fellowships to attend the annual Society of American Business Editors and Writers conference in Phoenix March 27-29.

The center will present the following training:

Detecting Corporate Fraud, a free, pre-conference workshop with Theo Francis of The Wall Street Journal and Roddy Boyd of the Southern Investigative Reporting Foundation on March 27 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Date Visualization: A Hands-On Primer for Business Journalists, on March 28 from 8:45-11:45 a.m., during the conference, with Diane Finch, visiting assistant professor of communications at Elon University.
As part of the fellowship, winners will be invited to write a blog post for BusinessJournalism.org providing useful tips for other journalists on what they learned at SABEW. Winners will be notified by Feb. 26.
