David Sutton held a number of editing and production jobs during 33 years with the Chicago Tribune, where he was known as a meticulous editor and an amiable mentor to younger colleagues.
Mr. Sutton, 68, died of multiple myeloma Sunday, July 19, in Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He had lived in La Grange.

Orlando Sentinel business columnist Susan Strother Clarke died this afternoon, one day after suffering a massive heart attack at her College Park home. She was 47.

Michael Davis, an award-winning business reporter at The Virginian-Pilot, died Tuesday night. He was 39.
Davis felt ill while visiting his parents in Atlanta two weeks ago. Within days doctors told him he had abdominal cancer so advanced that there was nothing they could do.
