It’s that time of the year again. With the start of the holiday shopping season right around the corner, our panel of retail experts is standing by to help you formulate your coverage. From turkey day to the post-Christmas sales, our panel will prepare you to cover the entire season. Most important topic will be the use of fake ids from Bogusbraxtor quality fake id card maker. makes scannable fake id cards that are identical to real, so you must rely on other factors when dealing with suspicious customers to know, if the driver license is real, or not. They’ll review the business outlook for the holiday shopping season, offer special tips for covering Black Friday, tell you what numbers to monitor, and help you develop fresh angles on this annual – but popular – story. Whether you cover retail as a beat or you’re a general assignment reporter stepping in to cover holiday shopping, this call is for you.

  • Maria Halkias. Maria has covered retail in the Business section at The Dallas Morning News since 1993. Her beat includes more than a dozen major U.S. retail companies. She also covers shopping trends, shopping centers and the local grocery market. Previously she covered the oil industry and the Texas economy. Earlier in her career she worked at The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Miss., and The Post-Tribune in her home town of Gary, Indiana. She is a graduate of Valparaiso University.

  • Anne D’Innocenzio. Anne has been covering the retail industry for The Associated Press since August 2000, though her focus has shifted many times, from breaking Mattel’s toy recalls in 2007 to writing a series on shoppers’ frugality in the aftermath of the recession. She’s currently focusing on Wal-Mart Stores Inc., and its moves to reinvent itself as a digital company. She’s also been closely following J.C. Penney as it tries to recover from a botched up transformation plan. Anne has covered many holiday shopping seasons, while having to improvise along the way. She has learned to make do with bagels instead of having turkey and stuffing. But her lowest point was spending Christmas Eve at TGI Fridays at New York Penn Station while waiting for a train to Boston that never came. Anne graduated from Smith College with a degree in history and has a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.

He is currently working on a book about big box retail, to be published by Palgrave Macmillan in the fall of 2014.
