SABEW welcomes Yahoo’s Task to its board of governors

Aaron Task, editor in chief of Yahoo Finance, has been appointed to join the board of governors of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers.

Task, who oversees all original content for the site and the Yahoo! Finance newsroom, is also the host of “The Daily Ticker” on Yahoo! Finance, where he offers insights on the most important business stories of the day, including politics, the economy, investing, Wall Street, corporate leadership and company earnings.

“Aaron has been a dedicated supporter of SABEW for many years, attending our conferences, moderating panels and speaking at events, and we are thrilled to have him on the board,” said SABEW president Marty Wolk, managing editor of MSN Money.

Aaron’s appointment lasts through SABEW’s annual conference in April 2015 in Chicago, when he will have a chance to run for a full, three-year term.

Aaron works in New York and lives in Montclair, N.J., with his wife and three children.

SABEW is the world’s largest organization dedicated to business and financial journalism.
