Patrick Sanders is the assistant managing editor/investing at U.S. News & World Report in Washington, D.C. He previously was senior editor, investing at U.S. News & World Report.
A former editor of The Herald Bulletin in Anderson, Indiana, Patrick was previously Connecticut news editor for The Associated Press. He then helped launch the New York Times editing center in Florida that produces the New York Times news service and associated international products, serving as the operation’s first managing editor. He was managing editor for a group of news websites serving Europe, Turkey and Ukraine, and conducted annual journalism workshops for reporters in those countries.
Patrick previously worked as a business reporter for the Charleston Daily Mail and had editing assignments in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
