Job Description: Based in Catonsville, MD, Guidewell Financial Solutions, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization with over 50 years’ experience serving the community, seeks a full-time Public Relations Specialist. The Specialist will work directly withthe agency’s leadership team and is responsible for the development and implementation of its communications strategy and objectives. The Specialist is responsible for developing its communications plan and implementing a broad range of public relations activities. This is a consultant position.

Qualifications: Strong writing skills and a proven track recording creating effective press releases and other communication outreach tools. Active involvement with media and news sources within the Baltimore-DC-Delaware corridor. Capability to identify and prepare staff members for print, radio, and televised interviews. Knowledge and experience marketing and developing communication strategies, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Expertise developing and implementing virtual compaigns across a variety of social media platforms.
