As part of one of the largest, most-established teams in our newsroom, the senior banking reporter will write for a global audience to covering the biggest names in U.S. banking — JPMorgan, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo — through spot reporting, data-driven feature-writing and on-the-ground interviews.

  • Spot coverage of breaking news involving the big U.S. banks

A tenacious, ambitious reporter with sharp news discernment, a deep industry knowledge and impeccable sourcing.

Minimum 5 years of experience covering the banking industry or related field.

Speed, flexibility and pragmatism are key, with an ability to provide our discerning audience with an array of stories, from an analysis of JPMorgan’s earnings one day to an in-depth look at Bank of America’s tech strategy the next.

A phenomenal storyteller, who can explain to a global audience complex, need-to-know U.S. banking trends and how they fit into the bigger picture.
