Job Qualifications

What you will do: Research, analyze, and write about the impact of complex governmental actions on federal contractors. Design, perform, and interpret quantitative analysis using internal and external data sets. Collaborate with data and product teams to refine market forecasts. Understand corporate business development processes and agency acquisition strategies. Understand the full business development lifecycle for federal contractors, including market identification and trend analysis, opportunity assessment, capture management, and the bid and proposal phases. Produce data-backed analysis relevant to contractors’ optimization of each aspect of the business development lifecycle. Create and present concise slide decks for publication, webinars, and in-person events. Work closely with other government contracts analysts and news, product, data and web teams. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Ability to understand and contextualize complex details in order to publish readable, concise, and insightful analytical content. Significant experience analyzing the defense and nondefense federal markets. Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience. 3 years’ experience as an analyst, editor, reporter, or consultant.
