Corus International
Washington, D.C.
Application Deadline: April 21

Job Description

This role keeps Corus in the news – as an innovator/disruptor in international development, as the INGO of the future, as the preferred nonprofit for donors of all stripes. You’ll be cooking up compelling, topical ideas; pounding them out yourself or shepherding them along with our thought leaders, especially our CEO; and getting them in front of our priority audiences. You might create and convene a conference on behalf of one of our nonprofits or companies. You might live-tweet one of our experts sitting on a panel at someone else’s conference. You might coach a colleague about to appear on TV, radio or on a popular podcast. Earned, owned, paid media, whether digital, traditional or emerging – you know them all and are discerning when to use which. You’re a clear thinker, an intense listener, and a dazzling writer. You’re always thinking about “hooks” – and metrics that bear out their impact on audiences. Conversation? You can carry on comfortably with CEOs, C-suite and VIPs. Crisis management? To you, that’s a window of opportunity to drive a truck through.
