Do you live for the thrill of breaking news? Green Street News is seeking an ambitious, scoops-oriented reporter to break news on commercial real estate deals across Quebec. Your mission will be to report on properties coming to market, recent trades, financings and moves among key real estate professionals. You will join a team of journalists based across Canada laser-focused on building a best-in-class resource for industry professionals. Produce 3-5 exclusive stories per week. Help produce a daily newsletter. Stay abreast of local reporting on the real estate sector.
Job Qualifications
Candidate should have 5+ years of reporting experience with hard-news clips from a daily newspaper, online information service or weekly publication. The ideal candidate will have a “nose for news” and a track record of developing hard-to-access sources on competitive beats. Business-news experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Fluency in French and English is required.
