How do you break in and thrive in the early years of your career as a business journalist? How do you turn an internship, assistantship or other entry-level gig into a beat-reporting position—and then succeed in this highly competitive field? We’ll hear from young reporters who’ve done it and from an editor who hires and mentors them. The session will be moderated by students in the Business Journalism course at the Reynolds School of Journalism, University of Nevada, Reno.
