New speakers added to SABEW spring conference, March 27-29, in Phoenix

PHOENIX – Author Michael Lewis, Quartz editor-in-chief Kevin Delaney and GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons highlight a growing roster of confirmed speakers who will appear at SABEW’s 51st annual conference in Phoenix, March 27-29.

“We have an exciting program of newsmakers, media industry leaders and cutting-edge thinkers to make this conference well worth your time,” said Marty Wolk, managing editor of MSN Money and incoming president of the business journalism group. “It’s already a great lineup, but stay tuned because we are continuing to announce additional speakers and programs as they are confirmed.”

Michael Lewis is SABEW’s 2013 Distinguished Achievement Award Winner

Chosen by a selection committee, headed by Jill Jorden Spitz, SABEW’s immediate past president. Michael Lewis is a longtime financial journalist and best-selling author of nonfiction.

Lewis is the author of 14 books, including best-selling titles such as…Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game, Liar’s Poker, The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday

Lewis will receive the Distinguished Achievement Award at SABEW’s spring conference in Phoenix, Ariz., March 28, 2013.
