SABEW offers condolences to the Capital Gazette newsroom

The murderous assault on the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, MD, has left us heartbroken. As members of the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, we wish to express our condolences to the families and co-workers of the slain members of that newsroom. The rampage was an assault on the journalists there – and on free speech everywhere. We support the news professionals who have been left behind to carry on the vital work of keeping their community informed. You are in our hearts.
