Every journalist may have a book in them, but for most that’s where it will stay. From finding the right angle to securing a book deal, the journey to elevate a story from the newsroom to the bookshelf can be daunting. In this session, seasoned journalists who have successfully transformed their beats into published books will share their insights, strategies and lessons learned.

David Jeans, senior writer at Forbes covering technology, defense and national security and co-author of “Wonder Boy: Tony Hsieh, Zappos, and the Myth of Happiness in Silicon Valley”

Ryan Mac, a New York Times reporter covering the tech industry and co-author of “Character Limit: How Elon Musk Destroyed Twitter”

Bethany McLean, contributing editor for Vanity Fair and author of several books including “Saudi America: The Truth About Fracking and How It’s Changing the World”
