New York – The CUNY J-School’s McGraw Center for Business Journalism will hold the second annual McGraw Symposium on Oct. 8, 2015, in conjunction with SABEW’s fall conference. The Symposium will explore the continuing transformation of business journalism in the digital era. We’ll look at the challenges and opportunities faced by outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Yahoo Finance, and Bloomberg News in reshaping coverage amidst the rapid changes underway, with a particular focus on the growth of mobile, the rise of distributed content and what’s next on the horizon.
Panelists include Gerard Baker, editor-in-chief of Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal, Andy Serwer, editor-in-chief of Yahoo Finance and Josh Tyrangiel, chief content officer of Blooomberg LP.
