Longtime SABEW Board member Pam Yip passed away on Sunday from cancer. Pam was a personal finance columnist for the Dallas Morning News for 16 years and served on the SABEW board since 2007.
“Pam Yip helped promote the highest standards of business journalism and made lasting friendships with SABEW members,” said Kathleen Graham, executive director of SABEW. “She was always ready to offer a kind word or volunteer her time. Pam’s contributions to the profession and the organization will be recognized in New York at the SABEW Fall conference, October 9 with the President’s Award presented by Joanna Ossinger.”
