Frequently Asked Questions: #SABEW22

What is your COVID-19 Protocol?

The health and well-being of our SABEW members and the community are of utmost importance, with the Omicron BA.2 subvariant becoming the dominant version of Covid-19. We are closely monitoring local and CDC health policies and guidelines and following the safety protocols put in place by our event host, Dotdash Meredith, which requires proof of vaccination to enter.

Our site host, Dotdash Meredith requires all attendees and speakers to fill out a vaccine registration link to use as a way to confirm guests/attendees are fully vaccinated. Those attending #SABEW22 in-person need to fill out the vaccine registration link the day of (or no earlier than the day before) the conference.

Event seating at #SABEW22 is designed to allow people to spread out and there is outside reception space. For scheduled breaks, attendees will be given a wristband so they can enter and exit the building with ease. Boxed lunches will be served on both days and can be taken outside. Cleaning protocols are in place and hand sanitizer will be at the elevator banks.

At this time, masking is encouraged but not required. Please note that this is subject to change.

Is there a #SABEW22 Cancellation Policy?

With #SABEW22 being a hybrid event, anyone who has registered and is unable to attend the conference in-person, SABEW will modify the in-person registration to a virtual pass and reimburse the difference.

In lieu of canceling, registration may also be transferred to another person up to Friday, May 6. Please make your transfer requests via mail to tmclaughlin (at) sabew (dot) org.

Anyone who has registered for #SABEW22 and tests positive for COVID-19 on or after May 2 will be eligible to either receive a full conference refund or have their registration modified to a virtual pass. We will refund the difference.

Refunds and/or reimbursements will be made to the credit card on which the registration was made.

Will conference sessions be recorded?
