RichmondBizSense.com – the business journal for Richmond, Virginia – is looking to add another reporter to our seasoned newsroom. Are you in the journalism field but are worried about the stability of traditional media companies? The right candidate will be able to produce local business stories on a daily deadline on some of our more seasoned and interesting beats, including startups, small businesses, nonprofits, publicly traded companies, local government, and more.
Job Qualifications
At least 1-3 years of reporting experience, primarily hard news, and the drive to work a beat on a daily deadline. Proven ability and/or the desire to learn to dig up stories through old-fashioned source work and public documents. And a clean and crisp writing style.
