We are seeking experienced freelance case writers to join our roster of professionals who contribute to the development of business case studies. Case writers will work closely with faculty and case protagonists to craft compelling and educational narratives.
Key Result Areas: • Collaborate with faculty and case protagonists to research, outline, and develop business case studies that meet Ivey Publishing standards. • Conduct interviews and gather data to create accurate and engaging learning materials. • Write clear, concise, and compelling cases, along with accompanying teaching notes. • Ensure all materials adhere to Ivey Publishing’s style, citation, and submission guidelines. |

Job Qualifications | |
• Proven experience in business case writing, business journalism, or a related field.
• Strong research, storytelling, and writing skills. • Ability to synthesize complex business scenarios into accessible and educational content. • Familiarity with business concepts across disciplines such as strategy, leadership, marketing, finance, operations, and organizational behaviour. • Experience working with academics, business leaders, or other subject matter experts. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style, 17th ed. • Completion of (or willingness to complete) an Ivey Publishing Case Writing Workshop. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. • Location: Remote, with possible travel for in-person interviews. |
