Job Description
The Albuquerque Journal is seeking an enterprising and driven business reporter to cover some of the most dynamic and consequential sectors shaping New Mexico’s future: technology, energy, utilities and the state’s national laboratories.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field; 3–5 years of professional reporting experience preferred; proven ability to write for both print and digital formats; strong reporting, writing, research and interviewing skills; familiarity with AP Style; ability to produce clean, compelling copy on deadline; knowledge of data literacy and/or social media analytics is a plus; familiarity with CMS platforms and multimedia tools.
