Data is king: How to use and analyze economic reports

Monday, September 15, 2014

The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis led a session that can help you find and interpret data for your stories. Participants learned how to mine data on the BEA website and create fast charts and maps using the agency’s interactive tools. The call also reviewed the BEA’s two newest data series, which track consumer spending and GDP by state. Those listening to the call should be seated at a computer with the www.bea.gov website up.
