The Business of Medtech: Miracle or Malpractice? workshop in Washington, D.C.

Apply for a fellowship to attend the in-person health care workshop “The Business of Medtech: Miracle or Malpractice” in Washington, D.C., Dec. 4-5, 2025. Journalists chosen to be a Fellow will attend sessions covering topics including:

• How AI and Medtech are Transforming Care, Costs and Coverage
• What’s a Medical Device Now? From Wearables to AI
• Follow the Money – Devices as Big Business
• Medtech, AI and the Future of Access
• Safety, Surveillance, and Cybersecurity
• Regulation in a Rapid Fire World

Fellows will attend an opening reception on Thursday, Dec. 4, with a full-day workshop on Friday, Dec. 5. All Fellows, except those local to Washington, D.C., will be provided two nights of lodging (Thursday and Friday night) at the West End Washington D.C. – Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Small travel stipends may be available for those not local to the area. Lunch on Friday is provided.
