During this session, you’ll learn how to promote your stories, increase your professional visibility, and conduct advanced searches on companies, groups and more. You’ll also learn about some of Linkedin’s new tools, including the new publishing platform.

Yumi Wilson, a corporate communications manager at LinkedIn who runs the popular LinkedIn for Journalists training sessions, will conduct the training and will tailor it to the needs and interests of business journalists.

Yumi WilsonYumi Wilson is a corporate communications manager at LinkedIn, where she trains journalists on how to leverage LinkedIn for research, reporting and sourcing. She also moderates the LinkedIn for Journalists group. In addition, Wilson leads a program that trains corporate communications teams around the world on how they can use LinkedIn to enhance their company’s brand. Wilson previously served as an associate professor of journalism at San Francisco State University. Earlier in her career Wilson worked for the Associated Press and as a reporter and editor at the San Francisco Chronicle.
