Roseanne Gerin

Roseanne Gerin has worked in journalism for more than 18 years, reporting on many different kinds of stories both in the United States and abroad.

Roseanne is currently an editor at Radio Free Asia in Washington, where she writes stories on human rights, corruption, the environment, politics, economic development and labor issues in six Asian countries that have limited or no access to independent media. She was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow in Economics and Business Journalism at Columbia University in 2013-14. She spent four years in Poland covering the country as it emerged from its communist past, and six years in China where she wrote and edited news articles about a nation that is having a monumental impact on the U.S. and the rest of the world. As a staff writer at the B2B publicationĀ Washington Technology, she was part of a team that won two American Society of Business Press Editors awards for coverage of federal government contractors.
