Cooper McGee is a senior multimedia journalism student at the University of South Carolina. He is from Saint Matthews, South Carolina, and developed a love for writing in high school. He wrote for his local newspaper, The Times and Democrat, after his freshman year of college. Cooper enjoys playing golf with friends, his father and brother. He also plays rhythm guitar in a band called Mary English and Devine Street. He’s passionate about writing and music, and hopes to merge the two one day. He currently has an internship with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Office of Media and Outreach.
