#SABEW22 – A Conversation with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo

The Honorable Gina Raimondo was sworn in as Commerce Secretary in March 2021. She has been a key player on President Biden’s team, working on the economic recovery from the pandemic, sorting out supply chain issues, boosting U.S. manufacturing, and implementing sanctions against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine. Secretary Raimondo has been pushing for chips and other critical parts to be made in America again. Before joining the cabinet, she was the 75th governor of Rhode Island and the first female governor of her state. Washington Post economics columnist and SABEW vice president Heather Long will interview Secretary Raimondo.
