SABEW’s third annual Best in Business Book Awards offer a new category for this year’s contest – Investing and Personal Finance.
Books in the “Investing and Personal Finance” category, sponsored by Yahoo! Finance, must be nonfiction works offering insight, analysis, or explanation of ideas, strategies, or trends in personal finance or professional investing. These are typically works of service journalism that are useful either to individual investors and families striving to manage their finances or to professional investors, money managers and investment firms.
The new category joins the Business Reporting category, which is sponsored by Investopedia.
The awards will recognize ground-breaking books that explore important modern business, investing and finance issues, companies, individuals or industries published between August 1, 2021 – July 31, 2022.
The winning authors from each category will be recognized by SABEW and awarded a $1,000 cash prize. Two finalists from each category will receive $500. The winners and finalists will be announced in November.
The deadline to submit published work is August 15 at 5 p.m. ET.
