Deadline Monday for SABEW24 Xana, Sho Fellowships

SABEW has fellowship opportunities to help advance female journalists and journalists of color. The #SABEW24 conference, held Thursday through Saturday, April 18-20, at the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University’s downtown Chicago campus.

Application deadline is 5 p.m. ET Monday, March 11

 

If you are a motivated female early/mid-career journalist searching for advancement, SABEW can help you meet your career aspirations. The fellowship offers complimentary registration and lodging at the conference hotel for Thursday and Friday nights for out-of-town attendees. The 2024 Class fellows will be part of SABEW’s Xana Fellowship Fund, a leadership program in honor of former SABEW board member and Quartz Executive Editor Xana Antunes, who passed away in 2020.

Apply to be a Xana Fellow by March 11.

 

SABEW also has fellowship opportunities to encourage journalists of color to attend #SABEW24. The fellowship offers complimentary registration and lodging at the conference hotel for Thursday and Friday nights for out-of-town attendees. This scholarship is part of SABEW’s Sho Fellowship Fund, a professional development program in honor of SABEW board member Shobhana Chandra who passed away in February 2019.

Apply to be a Sho Fellow by March 11.
