SABEW23

#SABEW23 Schedule

#SABEW23, held Thursday through Saturday, April 20-22, will convene newsmakers, economists and some of the best business journalists in the country in St. Petersburg, Florida. Join us on the campus of the Poynter Institute, renowned for its excellence in newsroom training, as we sharpen our skills and hear from influential players in business and government. Celebrate the Best in Business Award winners, network with your colleagues and enjoy Florida’s beautiful Gulf coast.

Whether you are a newsroom leader, early/mid-career journalist, academic, student or PR professional, SABEW’s annual conference consistently offers new ideas to elevate your journalism and share with your newsrooms and classrooms.

Our first-ever collaboration with Poynter will tap into the center’s deep expertise in teaching those who manage, edit, produce, program, report, write, blog, photograph and design, and also allow us to explore Florida as an epicenter of the country’s post-pandemic economy. Session topics such as climate change, economic development, housing, artificial intelligence, the banking crisis, private equity and financial inclusion are all on display in the Sunshine State.

The changing American economy once again leaves business journalists in unchartered waters. The theme of SABEW23 is: Navigating beyond the pandemic. Come join us in St. Pete and get your sea legs.
